Independence: Moderate — help with bind-off
Materials: Friendly Loom metal potholder looms, cotton loops, weaving hooks, project bags.
Little ones: K students can use pre-selected color sets and receive help only with the final bind-off until ready. 1st graders can usually learn the full weave/bind-off sequence.
Independent work: Number looms and give each student a labeled project bag so work can continue across sessions. A photo card for over-under weaving prevents most errors.
Safety & cleanup
Follow the teacher notes and supervise any activity marked Teacher-supported.
