Folded Paper Holds Weight

Folded paper supports much more weight. Ask students to predict what will happen. Compare flat paper bridge with folded/accordion paper. Key idea: Folding changes shape and increases stiffness. Ask: Did we add more paper or just change its shape? Safety and cleanup: Use soft test weights. https://www.sciencebuddies.org/stem-activities/build-best-bridge
